PITO supports physicians in their transitions to electronic medical records through an Implementation and Transition Support Program (ITSP). ITSP is a change management and support initiative established to enhance the success of EMR implementations and ease the transition.
From time to time, certain clinics require additional support in planning or preparing for the transition, during transition, or after the initial transition. These additional resources are referred to as “Field Resources”. These resources may be sought and paid directly by the clinic and reimbursed through PITO funding, or may be assigned and paid for directly by PITO. Each support service is typically 1-3 days of effort per physician.
PITO maintains a standing list of qualified resources to support clinics through Field Resource services. Vendors wishing to be considered for this standing list should respond to the Request for Qualifications – Field Resources (RFQ)
