Secure Email
When available in the future, physicians may choose to take advantage of a PPN email solution provided by TELUS. This service will include:
- Email accounts that use industry standard email protocols (POP, IMAP, SMTP). The format of the email addresses will be 'first name.last name@bcdocs.bc.ca'. A general practice email address can be set up using one of the mailboxes (eg. your_practice@bcdocs.bc.ca);
- Web browser access to email from either the practice location, or through the secure VPN Portal site;
- Up to 100mb mailbox size;
- Up to 20mb email attachment size;
- TELUS managed daily backup and maintenance of the email server.
